This Vintage Hand Blown Island Studio Glass Guernsey Ultramarine Blue 'Coral Polyp' Miniature Vase C.1970s was 'Hand Blown' in the 1980's in the Island Studio of the Channel Islands and carries the 'square' crest underneath.

It was made to emulate the Coral Polyp which is rarely seen in the Ultramarine Blue due to coral deprivation over the last few decades and therefore symbolised (unknowingly at the time) the harm that is being done to our corals across the oceans following plastic waste, oil spills and climate change.

It's an absolutely stunning little vase, you won't find one like this again as it's not being made anymore due to studio closure and it's in really fantastic like new condition.
