One for the Tiki collectors maybe? This is a Genuine Original 1970's CocoJoe's Hawaiian Lava Made 'Hula Dancer' it's a rarityas there aren't many CocoJoe's products left since they closed in Hawaii in the 70's.

It's a very strange figureine as it seems to lean forward we wondered if that was something to do with the fact that it's made from Lava and so perhaps with time it has 'moved' a little, either way it adds to it's quirkiness and certainly makes it a collectable worth talking about. Apparantly there was episodes of Hawaii-5-O the original tv program where you can see a CocoJoe's Hula Dancer similiar to this one on the car dashboard of the main protaganists of the show but we've yet to delve through lots of episodes of the popular 70's/80's TV show to prove this!

The original ticket on the back of the dancer says ' Lovely Hula Dancer ~ When you watch a hula girl dance, You will surely wish for romance, Keep your eyes off her hips , her lovely hula hips..... Keep your eyes on her hands!! Made in Hawaii with Lava by the one and only CocoJoe's
