Egyptian Camel Hand Carved Wooden Letter Rack 1940's

The history of 'Hump-hrey' is unknown he belonged to a relative that passed away some years ago that did a lot of work in Egypt so maybe that makes sense but if you try to search online for a wooden camel letter rack it will give you no exact results so i guess that Humphrey is one of a kind!

Regardless he's quite obviously hand carved from solid wood which appears to be unfinished Acacia and could have a wax added if required which would definately change the look of the wood but we like it as it is!
