This curious antique silver spoon was apparantly made by Thomas Kinne ( or Kinney ) Sr., Norwich, Connecticut ( 1786 - 1824). 

It was made from American Coin Silver melted to form individual fancy pieces of cutlery during the American Revolutionary War to disguise the silver as every day objects!

It's a stunning spoon, highly collectable with a lot of history and would look great in a curio corner of your house!
