1910 Silver Plate and Glass Hip Flask With 'Removable' Drinking Cup

but as we can't see any hallmark on this one it's likely that it was silver plated with maybe  a gilt line to the bottom cup which they were at the time the non-hallmarked ones aren't quite as valuable but still fetch a near to similiar price at auction due to shape of the glass and the arduous task involved to make them. This is in fantastic condition with obviously some wear due to age but we would like it to be used as it's still very useable and would look very fasionable at say ' a day at the races'  so we're letting it go at a lot lower than it would normally fetch in hope that you will use it!

The top has a 'twist lock' mechanism that seems ahead of its time! Apparantly the cup removes from the bottom to be used but due to age it probably needs a good 'tug' to set it free but we didn't want to attempt that sop that bit is up to you otherwise it's a lovely hip flask either way!
